To be honest it's one of those places that I just kept driving by. Time after time I would resolve to check it out later, and never did. As much as I love breakfast, most times I don't want to make it. It was the Bilog's one year anniversary, and I had procrastinated long enough. A funky good A.M. was in the making. With my first step into the Wyoming cafe I was soothed by the lavender walls decorated with funky, glittery art. The seating gave a plethora of options with cozy couches and chairs as well as table seating. The menu is diverse, to say the least, for a coffee shop. I ordered the rice breakfast plate, offered with brown or jasmine rice topped with a fried egg, and your choice of bacon or sausage. The rice and egg combination seemed odd to the ear, but with the first bite they melded together and made one harmonious bite. Coffee was just as versatile as the menu, with several different flavors plus the added bonus of free refills…
Over all, the cafe offers several breakfast options such as breakfast croissants and empanadas. The menu is worldly and comforting. I would also suggest the gentle snicker doodle blend coffee; it will brighten up these cold winter mornings. Although, I didn't get to try the assortment of teas I was intrigued at the selection, as well as the teas set available for purchase. I will definitely be frequenting this inviting coffee shop...it's not just beans with Bilog. I might even drop in for their karaoke night on Saturday’s. Also, did I neglect to mention that I had breakfast for two (keep in mind my breakfast guest is an eleven year old girl) for a whopping $11. Great atmosphere, and I didn't break the bank you can't beat it.
